Is this just another dashboard?

No, and we'd deserve the skepticism if it were. Dashboards show you totals you already had. Pyrenis is an allocation engine plus an alerting system: it assigns every dollar to an owner, pages that owner when spend breaks pattern, and sends recommendations with projected savings attached. Success is measured in dollars removed from the bill, not charts viewed.

How do you handle our billing data? What about security?

We ingest billing and usage metadata only: line items, resource identifiers, tags, utilization metrics. Never your application data, never your code. Access is read only with no write scopes anywhere. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, single tenant available on Enterprise, and we delete everything within 30 days if you leave.

Our tagging is a mess. Will allocation still work?

Yes. Messy tags are the normal case, not the exception. Most companies start around 60% tag coverage. Allocation rules handle the rest: account-level defaults, namespace mapping for Kubernetes, usage-weighted splits for shared services. You get to 100% allocated without a six-month tagging crusade first.

What does setup actually involve?

Creating a read-only role and pointing us at your billing exports. About 15 minutes per cloud, and your first allocated data shows up within 24 hours. The Kubernetes agent is optional and takes one Helm install.

We spend over $1M a month. Can you handle that scale?

That is the scale we built for. The allocation engine is designed around multi-payer AWS organizations, hundreds of accounts and projects, and billing files with tens of millions of line items a day. If your bill is big enough that nobody reads it, you are exactly who we want to talk to.
