Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Pyrenis, Inc. ("Pyrenis", "we", "us") handles information collected through pyrenis.com. Pyrenis is a pre-launch product, and this site is an informational marketing site. We have tried to keep both the site and this policy simple: we collect very little, and we explain all of it below.
What we collect
Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand how the site is used in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across other sites. It gives us aggregate information such as page views, referrers, country, and browser type. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Email correspondence. If you email us, for example at hello@pyrenis.com or through one of the email links on this site, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message.
Server logs. Like nearly every website, the infrastructure serving this site may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, requested URL, and timestamp) for security and reliability purposes.
That is the full list. This site has no accounts, no signup forms, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts.
How we use it
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful and where visitors come from.
- To respond to your messages, including early access and design partner requests.
- To keep the site secure and running reliably.
If you write to us about early access, we may follow up with you by email about Pyrenis. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data. Ever.
- We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing.
- We do not run advertising trackers or cross-site tracking on this site.
We use a small number of service providers to operate the site and our email (such as Cloudflare for analytics and hosting infrastructure, and our email provider). They process data only on our behalf and under their own contractual obligations.
Retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained by Cloudflare per its Web Analytics retention practices; we do not hold visitor-level analytics data ourselves. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the conversation you started with us, for example to follow up on an early access request. If you would like your correspondence deleted, email us and we will delete it unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Given how little we collect, the practical way to exercise any of these is to email us at hello@pyrenis.com. We will respond to any reasonable request.
Children
This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. When Pyrenis launches as a product, the product will have its own, more detailed privacy documentation covering customer data.
